River Oak Cosmo Sire: Windemere’s Just in Step Grey; large irregular star extending into very narrow irregular short snip, right hind partial pastern white higher in back. **Papers WILL NOT transfer** Registered Percheron gelding: broke to ride, crossties, stands for farrier(no stocks), bathes, has been previously hitched and used in parades(ridden), accepts fly spray, been in wood and electric fencing, great stall manners, clean. Will need shoes or trimming every few weeks to correct splits from overgrown feet. CAN NOT be fed anything but a 10-12% pelleted feed due to reactions from 14% or higher feed. Entertains himself by playing with lips and rolling his tongue. Super easy to handle, well mannered, loads. Update: 1/20/10, Luke evaluated for riding and grooming manners. Stood quietly for grooming and tacking in cross ties. No issues in saddling or bridling. Drops nose to the ground for the bridle. Stands fantastic for mounting, easy steering, good whoa, nice little jog, a bit stubborn with backing but will. Moves well off leg. Ridden in butterfly snaffle for eval but regularly rides in straight mouth snaffle. Hi regular bridle goes with this guy. There is also a 2008 USDA/Ohio Dept of Agriculture citation against them for Non-burial of Livestock after they left a horse lying in a ditch for days unnoticed by anyone that resides at the farm -- only the children who ride the bus past the farm daily to school.
