Jackpot~ADOPTED

Most of you know the story of Lotto the Belgian. He was pulled from Camelot in July 2010.  He was lame and nobody wanted a lame horse.  So we stepped in.  The thing was, he was one of a young team of Belgians.  The other was purchased privately and taken to Cape May, NJ.  So Lotto came to Ohio without his buddy.

Well on January 30, 2011 something amazing happened.  Almost if out of a fairytale…I was bombarded with emails and postings of a Craigslist ad from Southern New Jersey….and there, staring back at me was a Camelot copywritten picture taken by Sarah Andrews of Lottos team mate, # 743.  I immediately was drawn to grab the phone and call.  I explained to the lady on the other end that I had this horses team mate and he needed him as he was battling a very severe foot disease and I wanted to bring him to Ohio to get them reunited.  The asking price on this horse was $1000 but the lady allowed me to purchase him for $500.  I gathered the troops on our facebook page and in lightning speed the purchase price as well as the shipping to Ohio was raised for #743 who was now named “Jackpot”.  He had indeed hit the JACKPOT!

Well, turns out that Lotto wasnt any longer interested in having JP around so he is now looking for a home.  Feet are in excellent condition, VERY well mannered, prefers turn out setting to being stalled, gives feet without stocks, only 6 years old and is broke to ride (green) and drive.  This is one GORGEOUS hunk of horse…with no medical issues and young in age.  A rare find in rescue situations!

ADOPTION FEE IS $550
