Ok, in case you guys don’t read the other posts… read this one!
The new draft coming in is now named LOTTO. Here’s why:

Sale number #539
Total bail $539
FRIDAY’S OHIO PICK 3 NUMBERS:
7/30/2010 MidDay 9,5,3 ($65,795)

WE SHOULD HAVE PLAYED!

Arrival time: 4PM
Minimal poop in the trailer, so we will watch that. Arrived minimally sweaty, stiff from riding and a bit sucked up in the belly. Grazed in hand for a few minutes with no issues. Stalled for monitoring of liquid and waste. Left hind outside heel missing good size chunk. Others seem fine.

Administered 1.5 tubes of Pro-Bio (stood great, I might add). Provided 2 quart scoop of saturated cubes, 3 cups of beet pulp, 1 cup of oil and electrolytes. Urinated- slightly colored, usual amount. Drank 1/2 bucket on intake. Eating with no issues. 100.2 temp (stood unhaltered).

Lotto will be in need of sponsors. He will need A LOT of weight builder, Horseshoer’s Secret supplements and oil. But he has a great temperament, is easy to handle, and willing. He actually went from being scared and backing away when picked him up to being willing to leave his feed to come see me when I enter the stall. He has a lot of potential.

Shay

This old girl is 24 years old and stands 15.3 hands and is a Perch. She is still rehabbing SLOWLY due to being a very picky eater. She has been driven, and they actually rode her through Camelot. I’m told she rides excellent but we haven’t due to her weight. She is a fairytale dream, and when she’s back to weight..oh boy! We are looking for a light riding retirement home for this girl. She’s earned it!

Adoption fee is: $350

Sponsor needed.

Ginger

Ginger (I call her Kate-LOL)

BREAKING NEWS:  Ginger has just been adopted and will be going to Florida!

This beautiful mare stands 15.3 hands tall and has no issues with her weight as you can see. We are working on getting her tootsies back in order but thats her only flaw. She is easy to handle, gets along well with others, respectful of fencing, great ground manners, gives all 4 feet with little problems. She is currently still a tad off due to in issue with her hock so we havent backed her until now. We hope to get on her 7.23.10 and will get video. If you’re interested, get in your applications, This gorgeous girl won’t last long once shes released.

Expected release date: 7.26.10

Adoption fee TBD

One of my sponsors is Anna Wowk and daughter.  Thank you!

Oscar

This is Oscar. He was pulled from Camelot on 7/7/10 by Maggie Bloom and surrendered to FPF for placement.

Oscar had episodes showing when he arrived at FPF on 7/12/10. We expected it to be Wobbles and were awaiting a vet evaluation/diagnosis on him when he developed a lameness in his hind left leg. We contacted our local vet hospital and took Oscar in for an emergency call.

A metal piece was removed from the frog area, and his episodes were diagnosed as a side affect of tetanus. He was treated at Valley View for this. He is currently back at FPF continuing his treatment with a reset of his hind shoes in 4-6 weeks. He is currently doing well.

Oscar will continue treatment until he is released by the attending vets. We will move him to the adoption page once that happens. Oscar’s sponsor is Maggie Bloom
