Sara

Sara is a registered Belgian mare who is currently on hold. She gave birth to a Belgian/Friesian colt on 10.18.11 and wont be available until after the foal is weaned. She is broke to work single, double and rides. She does have some breathing issues that wont allow a full days work but because we dont place our horses for anything other then family horses…we dont expect it to be an issue. This is a bog mare at 18 hands and as you can see from her newly posted pictures she came thru her pregnancy looking great! **Accepting applications for Sara upon weaning of her foal** Adoption fee is $700.

Jello

JelloJello is a 15 year old Haflinger, standing 14hh, super size for the kids to learn on, and not outgrow quickly! Smart, gentle, and mannerly, good on trails and in the ring, Super partner for that little one ready to ride independently, sturdy enough for a small adult in need of a confidence builder. This pony has been ridden by children from ages 4-6 both on a lead as well as alone. He is completely aware of the fact that these are beginners and stops if balance is lost. You won’t find a nicer pony with a better mind. He is a TRUE children’s pony!

Adoption fee is $600.

Red

RedRed is a late teens-early 20 year old gelding, stands 16.1 hands tall and is a great family type horse. He has been used extensively for trail riding, as a companion and we believe he is broke to drive. He was an amish owned horse. He has been with families that have children so he is use to that. Needs sturdy fencing or electric. Well mannered and great for vet/farrier.

Adoption fee is $500.

Leroy

LeroyLeroy is a trail broken, family horse and was originally rescued in May 2008 from Sugarcreek Auction. He was literally standing in Bakers direct to ship pen from the week before. He was adopted by a couple in northern Ohio looking for a beginner friendly hubby horse. Well, they found it in this gorgeous guy. He’s been used for trail riding by several in the family and does well. He loads and trailers quietly. He’s not small so someone not intimidated by his size would be best suited.

Jennifer Salo Baldwin (current home): Here is more information about Leroy: He is awesome. My husband rode him primarily. Leroy was the first horse that my husband rode, and they would go anywhere together. We would do some challenging trail rides, and he and Leroy would be our trail blazers. With conditioning he will move out too in a nice canter, but we mainly walked and trotted with him. We shod his front feet this summer as the trails by us have a lot of stones- he stands for the farrier- no stocks necessary. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact me on my page. I will also post more pictures of him. I hate to admit this though- I did pull his mane- he can be an itchy boy in the summer, and it was getting a bit much for him, but now you can see his gorgeous neck. We ride him in a halter bridle because he can be difficult when bridling because he puts his head high so the halter bridle is wonderful. I’ll post one more pic. Contact me directly if you want more angles.

Adoption fee is $500.

Raggedy Annie

After spending several years in a devoted, loving home in Maine, Annie is back to Ohio, and looking to move south! She is a wonderful Clydesdale mix, trail horse, but has arthritis, and as such, is sound for light riding, and would benefit greatly from a milder climate.

Raggedy Annie is up-to-date on her routine shots.
